What you'll do
- Lead the financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure financial targets are met.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Prepare and present monthly financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and actionable insights.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and ensure timely submission to regulatory bodies.
- Manage cash flow and working capital to optimize liquidity and support business operations, including monitoring receivables and payables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that drive strategic initiatives and support business objectives.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably within a corporate or multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards, with a proven track record of compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficient in financial software and tools, with advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in mentoring finance professionals.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Fluency in Greek and English is required; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
