Dandy is on the lookout for a seasoned HR professional to become part of our growing team. This position plays a vital role in building the HR framework as Dandy expands its international presence, particularly focusing on new locations and entities. You will be responsible for ensuring that employees across our global offices experience a seamless integration with our People systems and processes.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Spearhead the strategic HR planning for new global locations, ensuring alignment with Dandy's overall business objectives.
- Serve as the main HR liaison for newly established international sites, with a particular emphasis on European locations.
- Address and resolve HR inquiries and challenges faced by employees in regions undergoing expansion.
- Create and refine HR documentation, including employment contracts, updates to employee handbooks, and communications that comply with local regulations.
- Formulate and oversee HR policies and procedures tailored to each new site or country, ensuring they meet local needs.
- Guarantee compliance with legal requirements related to HR across various jurisdictions, safeguarding the organization against potential risks.
- Enhance administrative processes, including the management of employee records and internal databases, in newly established regions.
- Collaborate closely with local leadership and cross-functional teams to improve People processes and initiatives.
- Work in tandem with internal teams such as recruiting and external partners to facilitate HR operations in new markets.
- Provide essential employee information, including leave details, to ensure accurate payroll processing across different geographical areas.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in roles such as HR Generalist, HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or equivalent positions.
- Demonstrated experience in leading HR functions for global expansion, particularly in establishing HR operations in new countries.
- Proven ability to cultivate trust and rapport with site leadership and employees from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Experience in the implementation and enforcement of HR policies across various legal frameworks.
- Background in managing HR investigations and addressing employee relations issues effectively.
- Proficiency in using GSuite and various HR software applications.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legal regulations affecting HR practices.

- Experience working in a rapidly growing organization, adapting to changing needs and environments.
- Background in developing HR policies and processes from the ground up in new countries.
- Familiarity with working alongside Employer of Record (EOR) or Professional Employer Organization (PEO) providers for international recruitment.
- Experience in supporting employees across various time zones or flexible work schedules.
- A demonstrated capacity to quickly adapt and establish new systems in a dynamic environment.
