Country Lead, Canada
Job description
About the role
You will own the end-to-end health and growth of the Canadian market, translating Dandy's short- and mid-term strategy into the right local moves for a brand-new market. The role requires you to be the single source of truth for everything happening in Canada, constantly refreshing your understanding of customers, sales, and the market, and turning those signals into immediate action. You will interpret and apply Dandy's company-wide strategy to the Canadian context rather than setting strategy in isolation, ensuring alignment with the broader go-to-market motion. Because Canada is a new market, you will incubate it from the ground up, building a self-sustaining business while managing the day-to-day to ensure success. You will serve as Dandy's internal authority on the Canadian market, providing expert-level guidance to executive leadership on market entry, growth, business operations, and scaling decisions. This is a builder's role where you adapt the launch playbook to Canadian realities and turn a new market into a growing, self-sustaining business.

Practical notes
The role is full-time and based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Bilingual capability in English and French is strongly preferred to ensure customer advocacy and post-sales support can plug cleanly into Dandy's existing infrastructure. You will be expected to carry the October launch through to a steady state and then continue building Canada as a permanent market, managing ongoing operations as the market scales. The position requires comfort operating within a broader go-to-market organization while owning market-specific outcomes, and the ability to influence audiences from individual contributors to senior leadership. This is an incubator role designed to grow into a permanent market long term, so you must be able to interpret and apply strategy pragmatically in a brand-new market while maintaining ambiguity tolerance and data-driven decision-making.
