About the role
CUBE is defining and implementing the global standard of regulatory intelligence for financial services through AI-powered SaaS solutions that simplify compliance complexity. The Head of Sales, Americas West will own all commercial outcomes for the region, balancing net new enterprise acquisition with the aggressive expansion of existing logos. This role is a senior individual contributor leading a sales team and operating on the global leadership council with direct reporting to the Chief Sales Officer. The position holder will drive transformation by replacing fragmented legacy systems with a unified intelligent platform at the C-suite level. You will build structured outbound programs targeting major financial institutions and manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from initiation to contract signature. Success in this role requires developing executive relationships with CROs, CCOs, Chief Compliance Officers, and procurement leaders to secure seven-figure deals. You will leverage data and AI to identify opportunities and execute strategies that deliver sustainable, predictable growth for the region.

What you'll do
Establish a structured outbound motion aimed at Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks, asset managers, insurance companies, and specialty finance firms across the Americas West region.
Drive net new enterprise logo acquisition by engaging major financial institutions and closing deals with a minimum target of £200K ACV per logo.
Own and optimize NRR targets, pushing net retention rates to between 130 and 140 percent through strategic upsell and cross-sell initiatives.
Partner with Customer Success to identify and execute expansion opportunities across CUBE's full product suite, including new jurisdictions and user groups.
Lead commercial negotiations for renewals and expansions, ensuring enterprise-level agreements align with strategic growth objectives.
Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing regional sales team capable of consistently achieving enterprise software sales targets.
Develop detailed territory and account plans that provide clear visibility into pipeline stages and ensure rigorous sales methodology.
Maintain pristine Salesforce hygiene to support accurate forecasting and insightful weekly and quarterly reporting for global leadership.
Collaborate closely with Solutions Engineering and Product teams to align value propositions with client regulatory challenges and market needs.
Build deep expertise in the US and Canadian regulatory landscape to articulate CUBE's compliance solutions to senior stakeholders effectively.
Requirements
You must possess 10 or more years of enterprise software sales experience, with at least 3 years in a regional leadership capacity driving large-scale deals.
You must demonstrate a proven track record of consistent quota attainment at £5 million or more in annual targets.
You must have documented success selling into major US and Canadian financial institutions at senior stakeholder levels, including C-suite executives.
You must have direct experience managing complex, multi-threaded sales cycles that span between 6 and 18 months from initiation to closure.
You must show a clear history of both new logo acquisition and account expansion within the same role and industry context.
You must possess a strong understanding of regulatory compliance, risk management frameworks, or financial services technology landscapes.
You must maintain exceptional executive presence and communicate effectively with C-suite audiences in high-stakes environments.
You must be based in or willing to relocate to New York or Boston and commit to traveling regionally for 30 to 40 percent of your time.
Nice to have
A background in RegTech, FinTech, or compliance software that provides familiarity with financial services regulation.
Existing senior-level relationships within Tier 1 US financial institutions that can accelerate the sales cycle and expand influence.
Practical notes
This role requires availability during standard business hours in the Americas West region, with flexibility for occasional after-hours engagements to align with global partners.
Travel is an essential function of this position, requiring 30 to 40 percent regional travel to client sites, industry events, and partner meetings.
