What you'll do
Partner closely with sales professionals to understand customer technical requirements and overarching business objectives for each engagement.
Design and present detailed technical architectures that align perfectly with customer data workflows and integration needs.
Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations highlighting platform capabilities and specific features for prospective clients during evaluations.
Provide expert guidance throughout the evaluation and procurement phases of the sales cycle to ensure success.
Collaborate extensively with engineering teams to communicate customer feedback and prioritize critical feature requests effectively.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues affecting customer production environments to maintain uninterrupted service delivery.
Create detailed technical documentation outlining solution designs, implementation strategies, and long-term architectural roadmaps for clients.
Serve as a dedicated subject matter expert representing the organization at industry events and conferences.
Mentor junior engineers and share best practices across the solutions team to elevate overall delivery quality.
Manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously while maintaining high satisfaction scores and strong long-term retention rates.
Evaluate customer infrastructure thoroughly and recommend optimal configurations for data observability and performance optimization.

Requirements
Demonstrated experience working in a technical pre-sales or solutions engineering capacity within a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of data pipeline architectures and modern observability practices is essential for this role.
Excellent communication skills for translating complex technical concepts into clear business value for stakeholders.
Ability to travel domestically within the United Kingdom when required for important on-site customer meetings.
Proven track record of managing multiple customer engagements concurrently without sacrificing quality or attention.
