What you'll do
- Architect and maintain dynamic dashboards and comprehensive reports to track key sales metrics and performance indicators.
- Partner with the sales organization to deliver data-driven insights that enhance forecasting accuracy and optimize pipeline management.
- Analyze and streamline core sales processes, including lead management workflows, opportunity tracking mechanisms, and commission calculation structures.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure strategic alignment and robust data integrity.
- Execute deep dives into complex sales data to uncover underlying trends, operational challenges, and quantifiable opportunities for revenue growth.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for revenue-related data requests, translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Monitor the integrity and consistency of sales data across systems to ensure accuracy and reliability for decision-making.
- Identify manual processes and propose automation initiatives to increase the efficiency and scalability of revenue operations.
- Document standard operating procedures for sales reporting and analysis to ensure consistency and knowledge transfer.
- Support the development and maintenance of sales compensation plans, including the administration of complex calculations.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of sales tools and provide feedback for improvements or new implementations.
- Assist in the management of sales performance metrics to track progress against strategic objectives.
- Generate ad-hoc analyses to support special projects, board meetings, and executive communications.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the revenue operations function by staying current with industry best practices.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a closely related analytical field.
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or similar analytical capacity.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to analyze complex datasets and translate intricate findings into actionable business recommendations.
- Show proficiency in utilizing CRM software, specifically Salesforce, for data management and reporting.
- Exhibit a strong and comprehensive understanding of established sales methodologies and end-to-end revenue cycles.
- Have a history of working with large data sets and performing detailed quantitative analysis.
- Display excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Show strong problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
- Be capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Have experience working collaboratively within remote or hybrid team structures.
- Understand the fundamentals of data visualization and reporting principles.
- Be comfortable working independently with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
- Have knowledge of data manipulation and analysis concepts, even if learned through practical experience.
