About the role
You will own the end-to-end delivery of critical frontend platform capabilities that power Cresta's AI-driven customer experience solutions. This role requires you to act as a key contributor within the Platform Frontend team, shaping architecture and design patterns that serve the entire organization. You will collaborate directly with product and engineering stakeholders to define and evolve requirements into high-quality, customer-facing deliverables. Your work will focus on building reusable, well-tested system components that ensure performance, security, and scalability across all channels. You will continuously analyze technical tradeoffs and identify opportunities for product improvement while maintaining the highest engineering standards. Finally, you will contribute to building Cresta into a best-in-class company by enabling efficient and inclusive frontend development for every team.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Assume substantial technical ownership across a significant portion of the Cresta product and platform frontend landscape.
- Partner closely with Cresta product and engineering teams to build, iterate, and continuously improve the Cresta platform and new product requirements.
- Remain closely aligned with customer needs, analyzing technical tradeoffs and owning all customer-facing deliverables to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Architect, develop, and maintain high-quality, well-designed, reusable, and thoroughly tested system components that contribute to overall system design integrity.
- Proactively identify product improvement opportunities and generate actionable ideas that enhance the frontend experience and platform efficiency.
- Demonstrate and uphold engineering best practices in all deliverables and daily work, setting a high standard for yourself and peers.
- Lead frontend efforts in a substantial part of the Cresta product suite, ensuring consistency and scalability across applications.
- Contribute to building the best-in-class company culture while helping to create a world-class product used by industry-leading organizations.
- Support the evolution of the frontend platform by working on architecture, design patterns, frameworks, libraries, UI components, development environments, tools, and deployment processes.
- Ensure that all frontend solutions promote performance, security, best practices, and inclusivity for diverse users and use cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine frontend roadmaps that support revenue growth and operational efficiency.
- Leverage your expertise in modern frontend technologies to solve complex problems in a fast-paced, AI-first environment.
- Mentor and influence frontend practices across the organization through code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.
- Drive the implementation of robust UI components that enable real-time human agent augmentation and conversational AI capabilities.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with strong foundational knowledge in computer science principles.
- Bring 8+ years of professional experience in relevant frontend development domains.
- Demonstrate very solid coding skills across modern JavaScript, TypeScript, and related tooling.
- Show proven experience with at least one major frontend framework such as React or Angular in large-scale, consumer-facing products.
- Exhibit proficiency in designing and maintaining clear, scalable frontend architectures that support evolving product needs.
- Have hands-on experience as a technical lead for frontend stacks that support multiple product features simultaneously.
- Understand the fundamentals of frontend performance, accessibility, security, and testing in production environments.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
