About the role
You will own the end to end lifecycle of AI Agents deployed at enterprise scale, translating ambiguous customer problems into reliable automated outcomes. You will act as the primary product leader for AI Agent initiatives, ensuring each deployment drives measurable value for both Cresta and our customers. This role requires you to blend strategic product thinking with hands on execution while navigating complex enterprise environments. You will partner deeply with engineering and customer teams to define, validate, and evolve AI Agent capabilities in the field. You will be responsible for aligning agent behavior with customer workflows and business objectives on every engagement. You will bring creative problem solving to ambiguous situations and turn high level requirements into actionable implementation plans. Ultimately, you will take personal accountability for the success of each AI Agent you deploy and the long term relationships that emerge from those outcomes.

What you'll do
- Own AI Agent outcomes for our customers by defining and delivering on the metrics that move the needle, actively seeking additional automation opportunities that unlock further value.
- Own the deployment lifecycle for AI Agents, guiding them from pre sale scoping and kickoff events through launch and ongoing post go live optimization.
- Design, build, test, and iterate on AI agents in partnership with Forward Deployed Engineers, leveraging Cresta's internal tools and emerging technologies to maximize customer return on investment.
- Lead customer relationships as the trusted point of contact for AI Agent initiatives, helping prospects and customers move faster to ensure timely and effective delivery.
- Facilitate workshops and design sessions with customer stakeholders to align on agent use cases, workflows, and success criteria while gathering feedback to continuously improve the AI agent platform.
- Work closely with Forward Deployed Engineers to ensure smooth implementation, build new capabilities as needed, and provide structured feedback to refine our broader platform.
- Improve our playbooks for agent development and customer deployment, creating reusable patterns and best practices that scale across engagements.
- Translate complex customer requirements into clear product specifications and acceptance criteria that engineering and design teams can execute against.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to prioritize the AI Agent roadmap based on customer impact, feasibility, and strategic alignment.
- Monitor agent performance in production, identify failure modes, and drive iterative improvements that enhance reliability and user trust.
- Partner with sales teams to develop compelling narratives and proof points that demonstrate the value of AI Agents to prospective clients.
- Document deployment learnings, capture success stories, and use data to refine positioning and product direction over time.
Requirements
- Bring 5 or more years of experience in Technology Consulting, Implementations, Product, or Customer Success roles, ideally working closely with AI or large language model products from the start.
- Operate with a hands on work style, maintaining curiosity and a bias for action while anticipating needs and bottlenecks, and delivering with urgency and care.
- Demonstrate experience leading complex deployments, owning customer relationships with senior stakeholders, and collaborating effectively across functions.
- Show a strong technical understanding and systems thinking, with exposure to building agents, where personal projects and practical experiments are valuable evidence.
- Remain comfortable working with ambiguity and learning quickly within a dynamic startup environment that moves at a fast pace.
- Exhibit a genuine passion for AI, automation, and shaping the future of customer experience through technology.
- Thrive in a role that demands ownership, accountability, and consistent follow through on commitments made to customers and internal partners.
- Communicate clearly and persuasively, both in writing and verbally, tailoring messages for technical and executive audiences alike.
