About the role
You will own the end-to-end management of Fleet Engineering projects within the Data Center operations scope at CoreWeave. This role acts as the central liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure alignment on objectives and execution. You will oversee the full lifecycle of Returned Merchandise Authorization processes from initiation to closure. Your work will focus on driving accuracy and timeliness in communication while maintaining strict alignment with operational standards. You will generate and manage performance metrics that provide visibility into fleet repair and remediation activities. Collaboration across fleet engineering, data center technicians, and vendor teams will be central to your daily responsibilities.
What you'll do
- Orchestrate cross-functional workflows for data center physical infrastructure projects while coordinating with planning and execution teams.
- Manage the creation and administration of Returned Merchandise Authorization documentation and related processes for external vendor interactions.
- Facilitate communication between fleet engineering, data center operations, and vendor teams to maintain alignment on project objectives.
- Analyze ticket-based workflows and identify bottlenecks using ticket data trends to surface improvement opportunities.
- Generate performance metrics and reports that provide clear visibility into infrastructure metrics, server management status, and case workflow progression.
- Support issue resolution for RMAs by coordinating with vendors and internal teams to close gaps and meet service levels.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation that captures processes, decisions, and outcomes for audit and operational purposes.
- Lead project reviews on a recurring basis to evaluate effectiveness and drive continuous optimization of fleet engineering processes.
- Partner with planning teams to define project scopes, timelines, and success criteria for data center initiatives.
- Implement improvements to ticketing processes and related tools that enhance transparency and efficiency across stakeholders.
- Monitor project execution against timelines and escalate risks or blockers to ensure timely delivery of fleet-related objectives.
- Collaborate with external vendors to clarify requirements, track commitments, and resolve conflicts that may impact fleet operations.
- Maintain alignment between internal teams and vendors through consistent communication and structured status updates.
- Evaluate the efficiency of existing workflows and recommend adjustments that improve reliability and throughput.
- Provide clear and concise updates to leadership and stakeholders on project health, metrics, and dependency management.
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business partners to translate requirements into actionable project plans.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience with physical IT infrastructure, Data Center operations, and/or RMA of physical equipment with external vendors.
- Experience working with and developing ticket-based workflows while analyzing issues and ticket data trends to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Familiar with tools and methods to create and maintain detailed documentation, and have proven experience in generating client-facing reports on infrastructure metrics, server management, and case workflows.
- Practiced in communicating with external vendors regarding business needs, priorities, incidents, and effectively resolving conflicts when they arise.
- Demonstrated execution ability and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to conduct regular project reviews and evaluations to assess effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous optimization.
- Robust problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ownership of end-to-end project responsibilities in a data center context.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in data center operations or similar physical logistics, experience with RMA processes, and the ability to analyze, optimize, and operationalize processes. Experience leading cross-team projects, working with planning, execution, and evaluation of project initiatives, including ticketing process improvements, is an asset.
