About the Role
We require an Accountant who will be responsible to perform the day to day GL accounting functions that include but is not limited to Management of Accounts Payable, general ledger, performing Accruals, Prepayments, along with Month end close responsibilities. This role will also require incorporation of tax and vat regulations while performing assigned duties.
What You'll Do
- Review, store and Book Vendor bills
- Perform Day to Day GL accounting
- Keep track of Accruals & Prepayments
- Ensure AP transactions are booked in the correct GL Code
- Prepare VDS & TDS summary
- Perform Month end Close tasks
- Perform Balance Sheet Reconciliation to ensure financial books represent a true and fair view
- Maintain liaison with all departments to communicate and resolve financial issues as they arise.
What You Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
- Enrollment with IFAC Member body is preferred
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Basic knowledge of IFRS
- Intermediate Excel & ERP Skills
- Good at communicating with English
- Shift Detail: Hybrid shift, (3:00 pm, BST - 12:00 am, BST)
- Workdays: Monday to Friday

About the Role
In this role, you will manage the day-to-day General Ledger accounting functions that keep the financial records of the organization accurate and compliant. You will be responsible for managing Accounts Payable, ensuring that vendor bills are reviewed, stored, and booked correctly into the appropriate GL codes. You will perform critical month-end close tasks, including the preparation of VAT and TDS summaries, and the execution of balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the financial books represent a true and fair view. This position requires you to maintain accruals and prepayments, keeping detailed records that support the financial reporting cycle. You will work directly with various departments to resolve financial issues as they arise, acting as a key liaison for communication and process alignment. What you'll do
- Review, store and Book Vendor bills with precision to maintain an accurate payable ledger.
- Perform Day to Day GL accounting to ensure all transactions are recorded in the correct accounts and periods.
- Keep track of Accruals & Prepayments to support the accurate recognition of expenses and liabilities.
- Ensure AP transactions are booked in the correct GL Code to uphold the integrity of the chart of accounts.
- Prepare VDS & TDS summary reports in accordance with local tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- Perform Month end Close tasks efficiently, coordinating with stakeholders to meet strict deadlines.
- Perform Balance Sheet Reconciliation to ensure financial books represent a true and fair view of the company's position.
- Maintain liaison with all departments to communicate and resolve financial issues as they arise, fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance is mandatory for this role.
- Enrollment with IFAC Member body is preferred and adds value to your application.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience is required, making this an excellent opportunity for entry-level professionals.
- Basic knowledge of IFRS is required to ensure compliance with international accounting standards.
- Intermediate Excel & ERP Skills are required to manage data and support system integrations effectively.
- Good at communicating with English is required to ensure clarity in all financial documentation and interactions.
- You must be able to work within the specified shift hours, which include evening shifts in BST.
- You must adhere to the organization's information security policies and protect all assets from unauthorized access or disclosure.
