About the role
The serves as a critical bridge between our product and our customers, partnering directly with customer engineering teams to design, deploy, and optimize payment integrations that power real-world transaction flows. This role blends deep engineering work with customer advocacy, requiring ownership of the end-to-end technical onboarding journey from contract signature through production launch. You will use your coding skills in TypeScript and React to build proof-of-concept solutions and code snippets that accelerate adoption and validate ideas quickly. You will analyze integration and transaction data to surface bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization across payment flows. This position enables you to shape product direction by translating customer friction into actionable insights for engineering and product teams. Ultimately, you will play a pivotal role in scaling both customer success and company revenue by ensuring Coinflow's platform performs reliably at global scale within the $194 trillion cross-border payments market.
What you'll do
Work directly with customer engineering teams to design, prototype, and implement integrations that meet complex business requirements while ensuring alignment with Coinflow's product vision and technical standards. Build proof-of-concepts and code snippets that accelerate adoption and de-risk technical decisions for customers, providing tangible examples that demonstrate platform capabilities. Advise on tradeoffs, system design, and best practices for scaling payments infrastructure in production environments, helping customers make informed architectural choices. Own technical onboarding from signed contract through production launch, coordinating across stakeholders and timelines to ensure a structured and predictable implementation process. Debug live integration issues across APIs, SDKs, and payment flows to resolve critical issues quickly and minimize customer downtime. Ensure every deployment is smooth, stable, and optimized for long-term growth and operational reliability, implementing monitoring and observability practices where appropriate. Analyze transaction and integration data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for performance improvements, using insights to drive iterative enhancements. Guide customers in rolling out new features, payment methods, and advanced workflows tailored to their specific business models and use cases. Partner with Sales to expand accounts through technical credibility, solution depth, and trusted advisory relationships, demonstrating how Coinflow can address evolving business needs. Translate customer challenges into product insights for Engineering and Product teams to influence roadmap priorities and ensure customer-centric development. Build internal tools, documentation, and reusable integration assets that improve team efficiency and consistency across customer engagements. Help shape the playbook for how Coinflow scales technical deployments globally across diverse markets and use cases, establishing repeatable patterns and best practices.
Requirements
2-5 years of software engineering experience or a technical background that demonstrates coding ability and systems understanding, with a proven track record of delivering software solutions in production environments. Coding ability in TypeScript and React, with enough fluency to debug, prototype, and teach these technologies to others, enabling effective knowledge transfer to customer teams. Great grasp of REST APIs, integrations, and distributed system data flows that underpin modern payment platforms, allowing you to design robust and scalable integration patterns. Comfortable writing database queries for debugging, reporting, and analysis across relational and NoSQL stores, enabling you to investigate issues and derive insights from operational data. Excellent communicator who thrives in customer conversations, technical workshops, and cross-functional collaboration, building trust and clarity with diverse stakeholders. Curious, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with evolving requirements, adapting quickly to new information and constraints. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose issues in production systems under time pressure, ensuring minimal disruption to customer operations. Willingness to collaborate closely with product, sales, and operations teams to align technical solutions with business goals and drive successful outcomes. Bonus: Experience in payments, fintech, or transaction processing that provides domain context for integration challenges, enabling you to anticipate common pitfalls and apply proven patterns.

Compensation and benefits
The base salary range for this role is $120,000 to $160,000 USD. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, education, skills, qualifications and business needs. In addition, the employee who fills this role will be eligible for an equity grant, allowing you to share in the long-term success of the company.
