What you'll do

• Lead the comprehensive strategy, planning, and execution of one or more intricate compliance programs within the GFCO framework.
• Develop and oversee program charters, roadmaps, and governance structures for extensive, multi-dimensional initiatives that encompass external regulatory obligations.
• Facilitate collaboration among more than five teams, ensuring that all stakeholders, including Directors and above, are aligned and informed.
• Convert regulatory mandates and operational deficiencies into practical program strategies utilizing a structured approach.
• Prepare for the launch of new products, market expansions, and entity growth, addressing all compliance and training requirements.
• Proactively identify potential risks associated with the program and manage conflicting priorities, offering clear recommendations to leadership.
• Implement cost-saving measures through automation and enhanced operational efficiency, while being accountable for the results achieved.
• Supervise the formal intake process for your program domain, ensuring that all requests and modifications are properly documented and tested.
• Create and maintain high-quality strategic documentation that aids in decision-making processes at the Director and VP levels.
• Manage feedback mechanisms between automation results, quality control assessments, and investigator insights to promote ongoing improvement.
• Spearhead responses to critical events within GFCO, such as regulatory deadlines and spikes in volume.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in program or project management, including a minimum of 3 years dedicated to financial crimes compliance or similar regulatory areas.
• Demonstrated capability to independently oversee large, multi-stakeholder programs in regulated environments with minimal supervision.
• Comprehensive understanding of AML/CFT program operations, including processes for Suspicious Activity Monitoring, Enhanced Due Diligence, and SAR submissions.
• Experience in navigating complex challenges and multiple constraints within a professional setting.
• Strong strategic development and storytelling abilities, with a talent for crafting clear charters and decision-making documents for senior leadership.
• Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and achieving cost reductions through automation, with documented results.
• Familiarity with program management platforms such as Asana, Jira, or Smartsheet, along with data analysis tools like Looker and Snowflake.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at the Director and VP levels.
• A Bachelor's degree is required, ideally in Business, Technology, Operations, Finance, Law, or a related discipline.

Pay Transparency Notice: The base salary for this role varies based on geographic location. Total compensation may also include equity, bonuses, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan.

Annual base salary range (excluding equity and bonus): $193,970 - $228,200 USD
