About the role

In this position, you will act as a technical expert for Coderabbit's clients during the pre-sales process. You will guide customers through complex implementation scenarios, demonstrating the tangible value of our Gen AI code review system. This role is designed for someone who thrives on technical challenges and building AI solutions for the software development lifecycle. You will own the technical narrative of the product, articulating how it integrates into existing workflows. The position requires a high level of self-motivation and a strong sense of ownership in every interaction. You will mentor peers and share knowledge through training sessions and shadowing opportunities. Success in this role depends on your ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences. You will play a key role in shaping the customer's perception of Coderabbit's innovation and reliability.

What you'll do

You will conduct in-depth technical assessments of client environments to identify optimal configurations for Coderabbit deployment. You will craft compelling demonstrations that highlight the core features and benefits of the Gen AI code review platform. You will analyze customer requirements and translate them into actionable implementation roadmaps. You will collaborate with the engineering team to provide feedback on product improvements based on real-world field data. You will develop detailed technical proposals that address specific client pain points and strategic goals. You will lead proof-of-concept projects to validate the solution's effectiveness in real development workflows. You will manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously, ensuring each receives the attention it requires. You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitor offerings to position Coderabbit effectively. You will work closely with sales representatives to build trust and credibility with prospective enterprise clients. You will document best practices and use cases that can be leveraged across the organization for future sales efforts.

Requirements

You must possess 5 or more years in a customer-facing technical role. You must have 2 or more years in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. You must have experience collaborating with various stakeholders, from technical staff to business leaders. You must demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage multiple customer needs at once without dropping the ball. You must have solid experience with software development tools and platforms used in modern engineering organizations. You must be comfortable using the command line and navigating complex terminal environments. You must have knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure to discuss infrastructure with technical buyers. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients from different backgrounds. You must exhibit a strong sense of ownership, self-motivation, and a desire to learn new skills and solve problems daily. You must be willing to mentor peers and share knowledge through training and shadowing to elevate the entire team.

Nice to have

You should have experience with container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes) to discuss deployment architectures. You should have experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform) to understand how clients automate their environments. You should have experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Github Actions) to integrate Coderabbit into existing pipelines.
