Cockroach Labs is hiring a Revenue Operations Specialist for the EMEA region, based in London, United Kingdom. This role supports the revenue organization by driving operational excellence across sales, finance, and customer success functions in the EMEA territory. The specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, process efficiency, and strategic visibility into revenue performance. This position is integral to maintaining the health of the revenue engine and enabling informed decision-making for the EMEA go-to-market organization. The specialist will serve as a trusted advisor to sales leaders, helping them interpret data and optimize their strategies for the European market.

What you'll do
Support the EMEA revenue team by managing and maintaining CRM data integrity across all stages of the sales cycle. Build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide visibility into pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and revenue recognition for the EMEA region. Collaborate with sales leadership to define and refine revenue processes, ensuring consistency and scalability across the territory. Assist with quota setting, territory planning, and sales forecasting activities for the EMEA team. Coordinate cross-functional workflows between sales, finance, and customer success to streamline deal execution and closure. Monitor and analyze revenue metrics, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational improvement. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for revenue operations tasks and workflows in the EMEA region. Partner with the global revenue operations team to align EMEA processes with company-wide standards and best practices. Support onboarding and training of sales operations tools and systems for EMEA revenue team members. Conduct regular data quality audits and reconciliation to ensure accurate and reliable revenue reporting. Work with the finance team to ensure accurate revenue recognition, deferred revenue tracking, and compliance with accounting standards for EMEA deals. Identify opportunities to automate manual revenue operations tasks, reducing administrative burden and improving the overall efficiency of the EMEA revenue team. Ensure compliance with internal revenue policies and external regulations applicable to EMEA sales transactions and contracts.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a business, finance, or operations-related field. 3 or more years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or a related operational role within a SaaS or technology company. Demonstrated proficiency with CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce or equivalent systems, is required. Strong ability to manage large datasets and generate actionable insights using spreadsheet tools and reporting platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Experience working across multiple time zones and collaborating with distributed, international teams. Familiarity with EMEA market dynamics, including regional sales cycles and regulatory considerations. Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to process design and data management. Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects in a fast-paced, evolving revenue operations environment. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
Nice to have
Experience working with a distributed database or cloud infrastructure company. Knowledge of financial planning and analysis workflows within a subscription-based business model. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker for building executive-facing reports. Prior experience managing projects or initiatives that improved revenue forecasting accuracy or sales productivity in a European market.
Skills & tools
CRM administration and data management, particularly in Salesforce or comparable platforms. Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet applications for performing data analysis and generating reports. Hands-on experience with business intelligence and dashboard creation tools for reporting. Solid understanding of revenue recognition principles and sales finance workflows within subscription businesses. Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate data into operational recommendations. Demonstrated project management skills for coordinating cross-functional initiatives and driving process improvements.
