What you'll do

• Oversee the daily operations of the residential property, ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained and meet safety standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance staff and contractors, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and within budget.
• Develop and implement property management policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and tenant satisfaction.
• Manage tenant move-ins and move-outs, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and that units are prepared for new residents.
• Maintain accurate records of property operations, including maintenance logs, tenant communications, and financial transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of the property budget, monitoring expenses and identifying areas for cost savings.
• Foster a positive community atmosphere by organizing resident events and activities that promote engagement and interaction among tenants.
• Respond to emergency situations, providing immediate assistance and coordinating with emergency services as necessary.
• Collaborate with the property management team to develop strategies for improving tenant retention and enhancing property value.
• Stay informed about local housing regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices in property management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in property management or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of building maintenance, safety protocols, and property management best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with tenants and staff.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by property demands.
