What you'll do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance Bamboohr's platform, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of our clients in the financial services industry.
• Participate in the design and implementation of new features, focusing on user experience and functionality to drive customer satisfaction.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software applications to maintain high-quality standards and ensure reliability in our services.
• Analyze user feedback and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and propose actionable solutions.
• Engage in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product development and maintain a competitive edge.
• Assist in the development of technical documentation and user guides to support both internal teams and end-users.
• Contribute to the overall strategy and vision of Bamboohr by participating in brainstorming sessions and strategic planning meetings.
• Mentor junior team members and interns, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers.
• Support sales and marketing teams by providing technical insights and assistance during client presentations and demonstrations.
• Collaborate with compliance and risk management teams to ensure that our platform adheres to industry regulations and best practices.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and challenges, translating those insights into actionable product enhancements.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in software development, preferably within the fintech industry.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with cloud technologies and platforms, particularly AWS or Azure.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts and the collateral management process.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to take ownership of projects and tasks.

Nice to have

• Experience with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of database management systems like SQL or NoSQL.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Previous experience in a startup environment or with product development lifecycle.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements in the financial services sector, such as MiFID II or EMIR.
