About the role
Cloudflare is on the lookout for an experienced sales leader to take charge of our Enterprise Majors team in the TOLA region. In this role, you will lead a team of account executives, focusing on driving revenue growth among Fortune 500 clients. Utilizing value-based selling strategies and leveraging our advanced AI-driven intelligence platform, you will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Oversee a substantial annual quota ranging from $15 million to $20 million for your team.
- Maintain a forecast accuracy rate exceeding 90% through regular pipeline assessments.
- Provide guidance to team members as they navigate complex, multi-million dollar platform negotiations.
- Collaborate with various internal departments, including Legal, Product, Customer Success, and Solutions Engineering, to facilitate smooth operations.
- Formulate territory strategies to pinpoint opportunities and enhance account engagement.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing sales professionals within your team.
- Establish direct relationships with C-level executives, such as CIOs, CISOs, and VPs of Infrastructure, to drive strategic initiatives.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and tactics.
- Implement training programs to enhance the skills and performance of your sales team.
- Foster a culture of accountability and high performance within the team.
- Regularly report on team performance metrics and sales forecasts to senior leadership.
- Drive initiatives that promote customer satisfaction and retention through effective account management.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in B2B Enterprise SaaS sales is essential.
- At least 3 years of experience in a first-line sales management role, overseeing a team of 5 or more direct reports.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas of 100% or more.
- Experience in closing contracts valued at $1 million or more in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) with Global 2000 companies.
- Strong knowledge of security, networking, application delivery, or edge computing technologies.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC or Challenger is highly desirable.
- Must be able to reside in Texas and travel across Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas as needed.
