The Senior Developer will serve as the top individual contributor and architectural authority responsible for the technical architecture and development of complex custom solutions, extensions, and reports within the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP environment. This expert-level role is crucial for creating and maintaining high-performance, scalable solutions that support high-volume transactional processes, especially within Supply Chain Execution and Finance. You will own the full lifecycle of complex technical deliverables, translating intricate business requirements into robust, future-proof technical designs and implementations. You will act as the final technical authority, ensuring all custom code and configuration strictly follows Oracle best practices and remains upgradeable over the long term. This role requires deep hands-on expertise to drive the delivery of the most sensitive and complex integrations, extensions, and reporting solutions. You will mentor broader teams on technical standards and elevate the overall quality of development output. Your work will directly impact the reliability, performance, and scalability of critical business processes running on Oracle Fusion.

What you'll do

Architect the technical design for complex custom solutions, extensions, and reports within Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, ensuring strict adherence to Oracle best practices and long-term maintainability.

Lead the development of highly complex and sensitive technical solutions including Extensions, Complex Interfaces, Customizations, and reports using core Fusion development tools such as BI Publisher, Groovy scripting, APEX, VBCS, ATP, or PaaS extensions.

Serve as the final escalation point for P1 and P2 operational incidents, performing deep dive analysis to identify root causes and implementing permanent, preventative technical resolutions across system code or configuration.

Lead performance tuning initiatives for critical ESS batch jobs and high-volume transactional interfaces, collaborating closely with OIC and OPA developers to optimize integration performance.

Establish and enforce technical standards, coding best practices, and quality gates for all development work performed by the technical team to ensure consistency and robustness.

Drive the design and delivery of solutions within the Oracle Cloud ERP ecosystem, balancing innovative approaches with upgrade safety and scalability.

Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications that guide development and testing activities.

Mentor and elevate the capabilities of the technical team through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and establishing governance around system changes in production environments.

Ensure all custom development and configuration activities align with Cloudflare's mission of building a better Internet and supporting high-volume, reliable Internet-scale applications.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools, leveraging AI-native curiosity and modern tooling to ship faster while maintaining quality.

Requirements

Bring a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in ERP functional and technical roles, demonstrating depth and breadth across complex implementations.

Possess 6 or more years of hands-on, deep implementation and support experience specifically with Oracle Fusion ERP across multiple modules and environments.

Hold mandatory, proven history of designing, building, and architecting complex technical solutions within the Fusion framework using tools such as AI Agent Studio, BI Publisher, Groovy scripting, APEX, VBCS, ATP, or PaaS extensions.

Demonstrate deep understanding of integration technology, with proven experience designing robust interfaces using OIC to support shop floor and warehouse systems.

Show a strong track record of establishing technical standards and governing system changes within a live production environment to ensure stability and compliance.

Have direct experience in an organization transitioning to the Oracle Cloud Ecosystem, navigating cloud adoption challenges and best practices.

Possess hands-on experience with other Oracle PaaS tools beyond core Fusion, showing versatility across Oracle's cloud platform services.

Have practical experience setting up and using CI/CD toolchains to automate build, test, and deployment processes for Fusion customizations.

Nice to have

Experience contributing to or leading digital transformation programs that align technology with business strategy at scale.

Background working with AI-native development tools and methodologies to enhance productivity and solution quality.

Exposure to security and identity platforms within Cloudflare's broader product suite and how they intersect with ERP workflows.

Practical notes

This role operates on a full-time schedule during standard business hours.

Travel is not expected as part of this role.
