About the role
The Senior OIC and OPA Developer is the definitive technical expert responsible for developing, governing, and standardizing all data movement and orchestration involving the Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud environment. This role designs the most complex and critical integration patterns using Oracle Integration Cloud and Oracle Process Automation ensuring technical solutions adhere to Enterprise Architecture and security standards. You will architect and develop the most challenging, cross-functional, and real-time integration patterns for the Oracle Fusion program using Oracle Integration Cloud. You will act as the technical gatekeeper for all Oracle integration and process automation design, ensuring strict adherence to enterprise standards and defining the long-term technical roadmap for the OIC/OPA platform. You will personally drive the design and development of technical solutions (Interfaces, Conversions, Orchestrations and Workflows) within OIC, utilizing REST, SOAP, ERP, FTP, Other Application-specific Standard and Database adapters while leveraging Oracle AI Data (a.k.a Oracle ATP Database) for data staging and integration. You will build BIP reports and ATP objects as needed to meet the requirements and define and validate the technical security protocols for all endpoints and interfaces (e.g., OAuth, API Gateway configuration), ensuring data transmission is compliant and performant. You will serve as the top integration expert, providing technical leadership and direction to developers building integrations.

Leverage Oracle AI Data (Oracle ATP Database) for data staging and integration, building BIP reports and ATP objects to meet complex business requirements.
Define and validate technical security protocols for all endpoints and interfaces, including OAuth and API Gateway configuration, to ensure secure and compliant data transmission.
Serve as the primary integration expert providing technical leadership, mentorship, and direction to developers building integrations across the organization.
Establish and govern standards for data movement and orchestration, ensuring consistency and compliance across all Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud initiatives.
Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architecture and security teams to align integration strategies with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
Lead the design of complex integration patterns that connect disparate systems and enable seamless data flow in real time.
Champion best practices for integration development, performance tuning, and continuous improvement across the platform.
Contribute to the evolution of the OIC/OPA platform by exploring emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance integration capabilities.
Participate in code reviews, solution validations, and technical documentation to maintain high-quality deliverables and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
Bring 10+ years of direct experience architecting, designing, and governing enterprise-level integrations for major ERP, SCM, and GTM systems to the role.
Possess expert-level, hands-on knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud, including strong familiarity with its various adapters, mapping, and orchestration capabilities.
Have proven experience working directly with a central Enterprise Architecture organization to define and enforce integration standards across complex landscapes.
Demonstrate deep understanding of SOA, microservices, API management, and security protocols to design resilient and secure integration solutions.
Show experience in an organization transitioning to the Oracle Cloud Ecosystem, navigating migration and hybrid environment complexities.
Have hands-on experience with other integration tools such as GoLang, Boomi, or similar platforms to complement Oracle integration strategies.
Possess experience setting up and using CI/CD tools like FlexDeploy to automate integration deployment and lifecycle management.
Show general awareness of built-in adapter-based integrations across various third-party software ecosystems.
Have exposure to the Data Center Infrastructure industry to understand the specific integration challenges and requirements.
Hold relevant professional product or functional certifications, such as OIC/OPA or Database certifications, that validate expertise in the technology stack.
Maintain a working knowledge of AI Agent Studio for Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications to leverage AI-driven integration capabilities.
Commit to adhering strictly to all enterprise architecture and security standards, ensuring governance and compliance in every integration design.
