What you'll do

- Oversee daily operations, ensuring that all clinical and administrative processes are executed efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices across all operational functions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet organizational needs.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including those set by local, state, and federal agencies.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration among staff, encouraging open communication and professional development.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including vendors, regulatory bodies, and community partners.
- Lead recruitment, training, and performance management processes for operational staff to build a high-performing team.
- Implement technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency and improve patient care delivery.
- Prepare and present operational reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
- Drive initiatives that enhance patient satisfaction and improve overall service delivery within the organization.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Proven track record of successfully leading teams and managing complex projects.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance, and quality assurance processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships at all organizational levels.
- Proficient in operational management software and tools, with a strong aptitude for technology integration.
- Experience in budget management and financial oversight.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Nice to have
- Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvement.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare information technology.
