What you'll do

• Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies that align with the overall goals of Cleverprofits, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Manage the budgeting process, working closely with department heads to create realistic and achievable financial plans.
• Conduct regular financial forecasting and variance analysis to identify trends and provide actionable insights to senior management.

• Monitor cash flow and working capital to ensure the organization maintains adequate liquidity and financial stability.

• Provide mentorship and leadership to junior finance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial management to ensure Cleverprofits remains competitive and compliant.
• Prepare detailed financial reports for stakeholders, including the executive team and board of directors, highlighting key performance indicators and financial metrics.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance department to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA) is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or a related role, preferably within a fast-paced or technology-driven environment.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, budgeting processes, and financial analysis techniques.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing financial strategies that drive business success.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present findings clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, including advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
