Advanced Analytics role owns the design, development, and delivery of sophisticated analytical solutions that directly underpin client strategic decision-making. You will architect and implement data models that transform complex life sciences information into clear, quantifiable business insights. This position owns the end-to-end analytical workflow, from initial stakeholder problem framing through to the deployment of actionable dashboards and reports. You will be responsible for validating analytical integrity and ensuring that every output meets the highest standards of accuracy and reliability for client consumption. The role demands close collaboration with senior consultants and industry experts to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches. Ultimately, you own the narrative of the data, ensuring that findings drive confident, evidence-based decisions for premium life sciences clients.

What you'll do
You will partner with project teams to frame complex business challenges and define the analytical strategy required to address them. You will source, cleanse, and integrate disparate datasets from public and proprietary life sciences databases to build a robust analytical foundation. Using advanced statistical techniques, you will uncover patterns, trends, and insights that inform high-stakes strategic decisions for clients. You will construct and maintain scalable data models and automated processes to streamline analytical workflows and reduce manual effort. You will translate sophisticated analytical results into clear, visually compelling dashboards and executive-level reports. You will rigorously validate data outputs and analytical methodologies to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reproducibility. You will document analytical methodologies and assumptions to ensure transparency and enable peer review. You will mentor junior analysts on best practices for data management and visualization techniques. You will stay current with emerging analytics tools and methodologies relevant to the life sciences consulting landscape. You will actively participate in client meetings to present analytical findings and support discussion. You will collaborate with technology teams to optimize data infrastructure and improve analytical performance. You will manage multiple project deliverables simultaneously while maintaining strict attention to detail and deadlines.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline. You must demonstrate advanced proficiency in at least one programming language, such as R or Python, with a strong track record of writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code. You must have substantial experience using a structured query language, such as SQL, to manipulate large datasets and perform complex joins and aggregations. You must be highly skilled in data visualization tools, with proven ability to build interactive dashboards using platforms such as Tableau or Power BI. You must have a strong understanding of statistical methods and analytical techniques, including regression analysis and data modeling practices. You must bring a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a data analysis, business analytics, or similar quantitative role. You must have direct experience working with life sciences, healthcare, or consulting data sets, or in a life sciences industry analytical environment. You must possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deconstruct complex problems into manageable analytical components. You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical findings to non-technical stakeholders. You must be able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven consulting environment. You must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines. You must be comfortable working with large, complex datasets and performing advanced data manipulation. You must have a strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and presentation.

Experience with SAS is a preferred skill for this role. Experience with advanced machine learning techniques is a preferred skill for this role.
