About the role
This role is the first deployment hire responsible for carrying end-to-end client onboarding independently from contract signature to live operation. You will translate complex partner requirements into precise product configurations and run executive and frontline training. This position sets the standard for every future Claim Health deployment.
Software engineers turn product ideas into working code. Engineers work in small teams, review each other's work, and ship in small batches. Most teams follow agile practices such as sprints and daily standups. Engineers also write tests, fix bugs, and improve performance. The field values clear communication as much as technical skill. Engineers spend part of every week on planning, code review, and debugging, not just writing new code. The ability to explain a technical decision in plain words separates strong engineers from the rest.

Translate complex customer requests into precise, well-scoped product requirements that engineering can execute, maintaining clarity and actionable detail. Run onboarding and training sessions for clinical, RCM, and operations staff, ensuring teams can use the platform effectively from day one.
Requirements
The posting states a bachelor's degree requirement. Meticulous organization to manage multiple clients, configurations, and open items simultaneously without anything slipping. Process fluency to absorb how an organization currently works, diagnose breakdown points, and prescribe improved paths using available tools.
Genuine technical depth to diagnose integration and data flow issues, translate customer needs into product requests, and resolve routine issues without constant engineering support. Multi-level communication that is equally credible and comfortable with executives, middle management, and frontline workers, including on-site client visits.
First-principles problem solving that targets root causes rather than surface symptoms. Calm composure under pressure because deployments can become messy. End-to-end ownership that sees tasks through to completion so nothing falls through the cracks.
2-5 years of experience in implementation, solutions engineering, or a forward-deployed role with a track record of owning go-lives end-to-end. Healthcare or health tech background preferred, with RCM or authorization experience as a strong plus. Technical capability to diagnose integration and data flow issues independently, where coding ability is a strong asset.
