What you'll do

• Lead the design and development of mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring they are user-friendly and efficient.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define app features and functionality that meet user needs and business goals.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices in mobile development.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high performance and responsiveness across various devices and platforms.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mobile development to continuously improve our applications.
• Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to foster their growth and enhance team capabilities.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with team members.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and other services, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
• Analyze user feedback and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
• Document development processes, code changes, and application features to maintain clear communication within the team.
• Assist in the deployment of applications to app stores, ensuring compliance with all guidelines and requirements.
• Contribute to the overall architecture and design of mobile applications, advocating for scalable and maintainable solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in mobile application development for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Swift, Kotlin, and Java, with a strong understanding of mobile development frameworks.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries for mobile integration.
• Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, and agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with cross-platform development frameworks such as React Native or Flutter.
• Knowledge of cloud services and mobile backend solutions, such as Firebase or AWS.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Previous experience in a startup environment or fast-paced tech company.
• Understanding of mobile security best practices and data protection regulations.
