This role focuses on owning the full journey of trust and safety for Chime members. You will shape how the platform protects users while ensuring uninterrupted access to their funds. The position requires close collaboration with engineering, data science, design, risk, and compliance teams. You will operate at the intersection of customer experience, risk management, operations, and compliance. You will define intake workflows that balance rapid onboarding with robust fraud detection for new members. You will build automation and tooling that streamline support agent workflows and improve decision clarity. You will review member disputes to identify recurring patterns and define product rules that mitigate risk. You will ship metrics and run experiments to measure how changes affect platform safety and member experience.

Compensation details
Base salary for this role depends on the assigned location. For candidates in San Francisco, California, the range is $183,000 to $205,000. For candidates in Chicago, Illinois, the range is $165,000 to $185,000. Full-time employees are eligible for a bonus and a competitive equity package. Final offers consider skills, qualifications, and experience.
What you'll do
You will design intake workflows that balance rapid onboarding with robust fraud detection for new members. You will build automation and tooling that streamline support agent workflows and improve decision clarity. You will review member disputes to identify recurring patterns and define product rules that mitigate risk. You will ship metrics and run experiments to measure how changes affect platform safety and member experience. You will partner with data science teams to validate models and refine rules related to KYC and automation. You will coordinate with compliance and risk to ensure proposed solutions align with policy requirements. You will guide prioritization tradeoffs to ensure engineering teams understand the impact on safety and growth. You will own the roadmap for a specific product domain and communicate progress to stakeholders clearly. You will define clear acceptance criteria for features so that outcomes can be observed in production behavior. You will advocate for member safety insights that influence long term product strategy and roadmap direction.
Requirements
You bring 3-5 years of experience as a product manager in trust, safety, or support domains. You can translate complex risk concepts into clear product requirements for engineering teams. You work comfortably with data, metrics, and qualitative research to inform decisions. You communicate effectively with operations, compliance, risk, and technical stakeholders. You must be based in either Chicago, IL, USA or San Francisco, CA, USA depending on the specific role. The AI Agent Product Manager position is located exclusively in San Francisco, and candidates must be willing to relocate to the Bay Area. Other roles may be based in either location.
Nice to have
Prior experience with KYC processes, identity verification systems, or dispute resolution workflows is valuable.
Skills & tools
Proficiency in data analysis, JIRA, SQL, design tools, and collaboration software is expected.
