You own enterprise selling motion for private capital clients, guiding funds through intake, build, review, ship, and partners with consultative calm. You architect consultative pathways, balancing swift moves and thorough validation for PE houses navigating formation and expansion. In this capacity, you serve as a trusted advisor that replaces fragmented tools with a single system of record.

Hosting executive roundtables at industry events to elevate Carta visibility.
Requirements
Holding a Bachelor's in business adjacent fields with 5 to 10+ years of fund administration sales.
Demonstrating deep familiarity with private equity, private credit, real estate structures.
Managing sprawling opportunity pipelines while closing large multi-year contracts.
Excelling at negotiation, consensus building, and complex deal execution.
Displaying quick study traits and articulate, poised communication under pressure.
Nice to have
Preferring candidates with SaaS or financial services background in venture capital or wealth management.

What you will solve
You will communicate the business impact of product offerings to key decision makers. You will demonstrate the ability to influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus-building to identify and sell new opportunities. You will own sales cycles that can extend up to 12 months. You will understand customer needs and requirements and act as a trusted business advisor. You will build and expand a network across the industry to enhance Carta's visibility and create new business opportunities. You will drive revenue through strategic outbound prospecting. You will own the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation to close. You will develop a comprehensive sales strategy and sales plan that ensures consistent achievement of goals over the short and long term. You will participate in industry events, conferences, and seminars.
About the team
You will work with salespeople to join the Private Equity Fund Administration team. Customers are primarily Private Equity, Private Credit, and Real Estate Funds. The Carta platform allows these clients to track and manage their portfolios while liaising with their investors. As a member of the team, you will introduce top-tier clients to a wide range of product offerings, including Fund Administration, portfolio management, reporting and analytics, investor management, investor portal, valuations, and data collection. These services include selling consultative access to a team of Carta fund administration accountants who support fund reporting needs. The offering includes a tech-focused investor portal for both fund GPs/Admins and their investors/LPs.
You will also work closely with new PE funds as they navigate the process of forming a new fund. That process involves advising them on best practices and referring them to additional vendors, which may include fund formation lawyers and audit professionals.
