Senior Software Engineer I
Job description
About the role
Eucalyptus is a digital health company focused on long-term patient care, now operating as part of Hims & Hers. In this role, you will own the full product lifecycle from initial discovery and design through to architecture, implementation, and monitoring in a fast-paced environment. You will contribute to both frontend and backend codebases while maintaining a specialization in one area, ensuring consistency and quality across the stack. You will collaborate on technical scoping and provide critical input on product direction to align engineering efforts with business goals. The position involves migrating complex business logic from our legacy mono-repo into our modern microservices architecture to improve scalability and maintainability. You will build and refine internal tooling to improve the developer experience and streamline workflows for the engineering team. You will deploy code to production frequently, optimizing for high velocity without sacrificing reliability or performance. Your work will directly support global health programs like Juniper and various clinics covering fertility, skincare, and preventative health.
