What you'll do

• Analyze and assess potential new markets by performing thorough due diligence on regulatory frameworks, pharmacy networks, and competitive dynamics to develop informed investment strategies.
• Lead the comprehensive launch process for new regions, which includes recruiting local talent, establishing pharmacy partnerships, and managing the operational infrastructure.
• Supervise the profit and loss (P&L) statements of active markets, utilizing data-driven experimentation to enhance sales funnels and improve key performance indicators.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership to formulate market entry strategies and implement cross-functional initiatives.
• Recruit, train, and mentor local team members while ensuring accountability for regional objectives and key results (OKRs).
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities that align with our business goals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to facilitate successful market entry and growth.
• Prepare and present investment memos and strategic recommendations to senior management, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
• Monitor and report on market performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet business objectives.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by sharing insights and best practices across teams.
• Engage in regular communication with the international expansion team to align on goals and share progress updates.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive movements to inform strategic decisions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in high-pressure industries such as investment banking, legal services, or management consulting (experience with top-tier firms is preferred), or a minimum of 3 years in an operational capacity at a rapidly growing startup.
• Strong capability in developing commercial models from the ground up, supported by well-founded assumptions.
• Proven experience in conducting independent research and distilling complex information into concise executive summaries.
• Experience in managing commercial negotiations with external stakeholders or suppliers.
• A successful history of overseeing intricate, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent written communication skills, particularly in crafting investment proposals and presentation materials.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset characterized by a strong sense of ownership, resilience, and a focus on results.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SQL for data extraction, dashboard development, and hypothesis testing would be advantageous.
• Experience in the healthcare or digital health sector is a plus.
• Knowledge of international regulatory environments related to health services can be beneficial.
