Lead detailed reviews of period close procedures and journal entry approval workflows to strengthen internal controls.
Explain complex financial concepts and technical jargon in a clear, concise manner to non-technical audiences and executive stakeholders.
Assess existing accounting software and financial technology stacks to ensure they meet the demands of a high-growth environment.
Develop consultative presentations that highlight the financial implications of product decisions and demonstrate value to potential clients.
Partner with finance leaders to build forecasting models that incorporate variable revenue streams and multi-element arrangements.
Champion best practices for financial reporting and ensure alignment with regulatory expectations in the technology sector.

Requirements
Candidates must possess a deep background in both public accounting and industry accounting within the technology sector.
A thorough understanding of accounting standards including ASC 606, ASC 830, and ASC 842 is required for success in this role.

Strong knowledge of period close activities and journal entry approval processes is non-negotiable.
