What you'll do
- Construct detailed financial models and provide proactive support for annual budgeting cycles while monitoring key performance indicators for executive leadership.
- Oversee the full accounts receivable and payable lifecycle, including diligent collections efforts, meticulous vendor invoice approvals, and precise commission calculations.
- Ensure rigorous maintenance of HubSpot data hygiene while driving revenue operations excellence through the strategic management of dashboard metrics and reporting structures.
- Supervise end-to-end vendor procurement processes, manage critical contract administration, and handle insurance renewals alongside IT provisioning requirements.
- Lead coordination of compliance initiatives specifically focused on achieving SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certification milestones with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Execute comprehensive people operations functions, including managing performance review cycles, administering engagement surveys, and orchestrating structured new hire onboarding programs.
- Facilitate complex cross-functional projects designed to identify and implement improvements in operational workflows across engineering, product, and go-to-market teams.
- Drive process optimization initiatives that enhance efficiency in financial reporting, vendor management, and operational workflows.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement, translating findings into actionable recommendations for leadership.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders seeking guidance on operational procedures and financial policies.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and scalability as the business grows.
- Support the execution of strategic initiatives that align with the company's long-term climate technology objectives and growth targets.
- Monitor regulatory and industry developments to ensure ongoing compliance and to identify potential impacts on business operations.
- Contribute to the development of a high-performance culture by promoting collaboration, transparency, and accountability across all teams.
Requirements
- Possess 2 to 4 years of cumulative professional experience specifically within management consulting, Big 4 advisory, or an operations role at a high-growth startup environment.
- Demonstrate the proven ability to create complex analytical models and construct structured frameworks independently from initial concept to final implementation.
- Show a documented track record of managing end-to-end business processes and successfully closing operational loops with minimal direct supervision.
- Hold current authorization to work within the United States without requiring sponsorship at the time of application.
- Exhibit the capability to work from the company's New York City or San Francisco office locations for a minimum of two days per week in an in-person capacity.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive financial and operational information.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, translating complex operational data into clear and concise narratives.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and organizational accuracy.
