About the role
Cabify is actively searching for a motivated B2B Sales Trainee to join our commercial team in Lima, Peru, with a specific focus on enhancing our operational efficiency and scalability for the long term. The selected intern will gain direct, hands-on experience in sales management and data analysis by actively contributing to multiple live projects alongside our experienced professionals. You will own the collection, validation, and updating of critical commercial data that directly informs our strategic decisions and sales initiatives. This role requires a proactive mindset as you will organize and evaluate information from both external partners and internal commercial sources to unlock actionable insights. You will be responsible for constructing and maintaining structured databases that support market research, strategic initiatives, and targeted sales campaigns. A key part of your ownership will involve producing clear, concise reports, dynamic presentations, and other supporting materials to effectively communicate project findings to stakeholders. You will also coordinate the logistics for sales workshops, internal training sessions, and cross-functional events to ensure seamless execution. Furthermore, you will drive improvements in team productivity by identifying opportunities and implementing digital tools and artificial intelligence workflows to automate manual processes.
Key facts
What you'll do
Update commercial reports, databases, and track key performance indicators such as SQLs and meeting volumes on a daily and weekly basis to ensure data accuracy.
Organize and evaluate data streams from external partners and internal commercial sources to assist in evidence-based decision-making and strategy refinement.
Create and maintain structured databases for market research, strategic initiatives, and ongoing sales campaigns to support long-term planning.
Produce clear analytical reports, executive-level presentations, and supporting materials to communicate project findings, trends, and recommendations effectively.
Coordinate logistics for sales workshops, training sessions, and internal events including scheduling, material preparation, and participant communication.
Improve team productivity by identifying, testing, and implementing digital tools and artificial intelligence workflows to automate repetitive tasks.
Develop and manage dashboards using advanced Google Sheets to monitor sales performance, track progress, and visualize key metrics for leadership.
Leverage basic to intermediate Google Apps Script or Macros to automate data entry, reporting tasks, and other repetitive operational processes.
Utilize generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini to streamline workflows, draft content, and accelerate data analysis tasks.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in the final cycles of a degree in Administration, Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, Economics, Marketing, or a related field with a strong academic focus.
- Demonstrate a strong and genuine interest in pursuing a future career in sales strategy, commercial operations, or sales management at scale.
- Exhibit exceptional proficiency in advanced Google Sheets, specifically for building formulas, automating data processes, and managing large volumes of information efficiently.
- Possess basic to intermediate knowledge of Google Apps Script or Macros to develop automated solutions for repetitive tasks and reporting.
- Have practical experience using generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini to optimize workflows, create content, and support data-driven decisions.
- Show competence in Google Slides to design and build executive-level presentations that are clear, data-driven, and visually compelling.
- Maintain an analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns, structure complex information, and translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift quickly and adaptability is essential for success.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with professional data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker Studio, or Power BI to enhance reporting capabilities.
- Previous experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot to understand customer relationship management fundamentals.
Practical notes
The position is based in Lima, Peru, and follows a hybrid work model that allows for a combination of remote and in-office days to support flexibility and collaboration. To support well-being and productivity, the role observes a Recharge Day, which is the third Friday of every month off from work obligations. The selected intern will receive a monthly credit for usage of the Cabify app to support local mobility needs. All interns will be covered 100% by private FOLA insurance to ensure comprehensive protection during their assignment.
