2) Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to establish quality gates and architectural decision records for each development initiative.
3) Evaluate and recommend tooling and platforms that support continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated testing pipelines.
4) Guide teams in adopting architectural patterns and design principles that ensure scalability, security, and maintainability of systems.
5) Conduct architecture reviews and provide constructive feedback on design proposals to ensure compliance with established standards.
6) Work with quality assurance leads to define testing strategies, coverage metrics, and quality benchmarks for production readiness.
7) Document architectural decisions and maintain living diagrams that communicate system boundaries, data flows, and integration points.
8) Mentor engineers and architects on best practices for building resilient, observable, and well-structured software applications.
9) Align development practices with regulatory and compliance requirements specific to the financial services industry in Brazil.
10) Drive initiatives to reduce technical debt and improve the overall health of the bank's software portfolio.
11) Coordinate with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure architecture supports deployment, monitoring, and incident response workflows.
12) Facilitate cross-team knowledge sharing sessions to propagate architectural standards and promote consistency across the organization.
13) Partner with security teams to embed architectural security reviews into the development process and release gates.
14) Evaluate emerging technologies and architectural trends to recommend innovations that can improve the bank's engineering capabilities.
