What you'll do

• Design and implement robust mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience across devices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and refine application features and functionality.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices in mobile development.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our mobile offerings.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within the team.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring high-quality code standards.
• Optimize application performance through profiling and tuning, addressing any bottlenecks that may arise.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow between the mobile application and server-side components.
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation and user guides to support the deployment and maintenance of mobile applications.
• Engage in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues, providing timely solutions to maintain application uptime.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in mobile application development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C for iOS development, as well as Kotlin and Java for Android development.
• Experience with mobile frameworks such as React Native or Flutter is a plus.
• Strong understanding of mobile design principles, user interface guidelines, and best practices.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and experience in integrating third-party libraries and SDKs.
• Solid grasp of version control systems, particularly Git, and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for mobile application deployment.
• Knowledge of mobile analytics tools and performance monitoring solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in a fast-paced development environment.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong presence in the developer community.
