About the role
The Sr. Salesforce Systems Administrator will own the end-to-end configuration, security, and optimization of a critical Salesforce instance that underpins the revenue operations of a high-growth B2B AI organization. This role requires shaping the systems that drive the go-to-market engine in partnership with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Revenue Operations teams. You will architect and manage scalable workflows, modernize the AI-enabled technology stack, and establish a trusted data foundation that accelerates decision-making and forecasting accuracy. Day-to-day responsibilities include building automation, ensuring platform integrity, and enabling leadership with actionable insight through analytics. You will play a key role in maintaining the reliability, performance, and compliance of the core CRM environment. Additionally, you will evaluate and deploy emerging AI capabilities to streamline operations while preserving robust governance and oversight. What you'll do
- Oversee the end-to-end administration, configuration, and governance of a Salesforce instance serving over 250 users within a SaaS Go-To-Market environment.
- Architect and implement scalable Salesforce solutions that enhance revenue operations, sales forecasting, approval management, and customer lifecycle workflows.
- Direct platform security, user access, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), permission structures, and enterprise compliance initiatives.
- Construct, refine, and optimize Salesforce flows, system configurations, automated processes, and validation rules to support complex business requirements.
- Manage the DealHub CPQ platform and drive continuous improvements across the quote-to-cash lifecycle and related operational workflows.
- Architect, maintain, and troubleshoot cross-platform integrations within the GTM ecosystem, including HubSpot, Gong, Accord, Gainsight, BigQuery, Fivetran, and other prospective applications.
- Evaluate, deploy, and streamline AI-powered workflows using Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectors and modern automation tools to increase system efficiency.
- Ensure high data integrity through the implementation of governance frameworks, routine audits, validation strategies, and active monitoring of system health.
- Develop executive-level reports and dashboards that provide clear visibility into pipeline, ARR, revenue forecasting, and key operational metrics for leadership.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, Customer Success, Finance, RevOps, and IT to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Head release management practices, coordinate platform enhancements, maintain technical documentation, deliver end-user training, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities where AI agents can automate repetitive operational tasks while maintaining quality standards, governance, and oversight.
- Monitor system performance, diagnose issues, and implement optimizations that improve user experience and process efficiency across the revenue stack.
- Champion best practices in configuration management, change control, and documentation to support scalability and long-term maintainability.
Requirements
- Bring over 5 years of experience managing Salesforce platforms within a SaaS Go-To-Market or Revenue Operations setting.
- Provide an extensive background in configuring Salesforce settings, system automation, security frameworks, and overall platform governance.
- Include direct, practical experience utilizing enterprise quote-to-cash systems like DealHub, Salesforce CPQ, or comparable solutions in production environments.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of designing and maintaining enterprise-level integrations, webhooks, and REST APIs connecting Salesforce with external systems.
- Show a documented history of establishing scalable frameworks for reporting, validation, and data governance that ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Exhibit a solid grasp of Salesforce architectural principles, Apex basics, validation rules, and Salesforce Flows for complex automation scenarios.
- Display the ability to assist executive leadership through strategic initiatives, high-level operational reporting, and cross-functional program management.
- Exhibit a talent for translating complex technical ideas into clear, accessible language that business partners can easily understand and act upon.
- Maintain a high level of ownership with a proven ability to prioritize tasks, execute effectively, and drive ongoing system enhancements in a fast-paced setting.
- Demonstrate proficiency in AI capabilities, including prompt engineering, evaluating AI-driven workflows, managing AI assistants, and recognizing automation opportunities while preserving governance and human supervision.
- Commit to working within the bounds of established policies, security standards, and regulatory considerations relevant to CRM platforms and data management.
