About the role
You will own the end to end sales process for Buildout across a designated territory, acting as the primary point of contact for commercial real estate professionals. You will lead discovery calls that uncover critical pain points and translate those insights into compelling narratives for Buildout solutions. You will demonstrate the power of the platform through impactful product demonstrations that make the value proposition instantly clear. You will draft precise and on the nose proposals that speak directly to the strategic needs of each prospect. You will win the hearts, minds, and ultimately the contracts of decision makers at brokerages of all sizes. You will represent Buildout at industry conferences and networking events to build relationships and drive pipeline growth. You will collaborate closely with teammates to brainstorm strategies and solve complex customer challenges together. You will take feedback seriously, iterate on your approach quickly, and develop the thick skin needed to thrive in a fast paced sales environment.

What you'll do
- Drive revenue growth in your territory by owning every stage of the sales cycle for Buildout.
- Conduct game changing discovery calls that reveal the deepest customer problems and motivations.
- Deliver high impact product demonstrations that clearly connect Buildout features to tangible business outcomes.
- Draft razor sharp proposals that address specific pain points and highlight the unique value of the platform.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities to consistently meet and exceed individual sales quotas.
- Achieve monthly and annual annual contract value goals through disciplined forecasting and pipeline management.
- Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue achievement using Salesforce CRM and related sales tools.
- Become a commercial real estate technologist who understands industry dynamics, emerging opportunities, and competitive trends.
- Serve as a product expert and advocate, ensuring the right Buildout solution is showcased for each customer persona.
- Represent Buildout in the market by attending conferences, customer events, and networking opportunities.
- Travel up to approximately one week per quarter to meet prospects, attend industry events, and strengthen relationships.
- Embed yourself within the innovative and collaborative Buildout team to deliver a world class end to end customer experience.

Requirements
- Bring 1 to 3 plus years of quota carrying experience with a focus on negotiating and closing business.
- Demonstrate a consistent track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in previous roles.
- Manage a full sales cycle with strong emphasis on the customer journey from prospecting to close and handoff to implementation.
- Communicate with excellence, using sharp presentation and negotiation skills in every interaction.

- Prior experience selling SaaS solutions into enterprise level organizations.
- Comfort with analyzing and interpreting sales metrics to refine strategies over time.
- Exposure to startup culture and the ability to operate with ambiguity and ownership.
- A network of contacts within brokerages, investment firms, or proptech organizations.
- Previous experience presenting in front of groups at conferences or industry events.
- An understanding of how data and technology drive decision making in brokerage operations.
- Willingness to travel quarterly and engage professionally across different time zones.
Practical notes
This is a fully remote role open across most of the US.
Travel is required occasionally, approximately one week per quarter, for conferences, customer meetings, and industry events.
The compensation package includes a targeted base salary of $74,000 and an on target earnings total of $139,000.
Reporting is directed to Meg LaBarbera, who serves as the Director of Sales.
