Senior Design Engineer
Job description
About the role
Buffer is looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join the Marketing team and own the front-end design system that defines how our brand appears on the web. In this role, you will craft the interactions, animations, and polished UI that make buffer.com feel modern and engaging for small businesses and creators. You will translate high-level brand designs into performant, accessible components that power landing pages, product launches, and marketing tools. This is a rare opportunity to be the primary engineer shaping the look and feel of our customer-facing web presence. You will work autonomously while coordinating closely with designers, marketers, and engineers to ensure consistency and quality. Your work will directly influence how millions of visitors perceive Buffer and the solutions we offer. By joining this role, you will help scale our recent brand redesign into a robust and future-ready marketing platform.
