What you'll do

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of product features, from the initial discovery phase through to post-launch enhancements, ensuring a seamless transition at each stage.
• Seamlessly integrate artificial intelligence into both the development workflow and the end-user experience, enhancing functionality and usability.
• Create prototypes to test hypotheses and refine requirements, ensuring clarity through tangible working code.
• Uphold stringent standards for security, privacy, system reliability, and observability throughout the development process.
• Design customer-facing workflows that cover critical areas such as billing, enrollment, classroom management, and family communication, enhancing user engagement.
• Collaborate closely with design and product teams to tackle ambiguous challenges and deliver quantifiable results that align with business objectives.
• Utilize data-driven insights to inform decisions and improve product features, ensuring they meet user needs effectively.
• Engage in continuous learning and adaptation of best practices in AI and software development to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, demonstrating a solid foundation in the field.
• Comprehensive understanding of engineering principles, particularly in relation to APIs, data management, infrastructure, and product interfaces.
• Proven track record of transforming concepts into production-ready features, showcasing your ability to execute ideas effectively.
• Experience leveraging AI tools and agents to enhance development speed while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Familiarity with automating workflows, whether for personal efficiency, team productivity, or broader organizational processes.
• Capability to navigate through ambiguity and convert unclear requirements into functional software solutions that meet user expectations.
• Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on fostering customer trust and ensuring data privacy throughout the development lifecycle.

• Experience in launching AI-integrated products or internal tools within production environments, demonstrating your ability to work with advanced technologies.
• Knowledge of orchestration, retrieval, evaluation, and agent workflows, which can enhance the functionality of AI systems.
• Background in sectors that are operations-heavy, such as fintech, healthcare, vertical SaaS, or education, providing valuable insights into industry-specific challenges.
• A portfolio showcasing side projects, open-source contributions, or demos that reflect your technical initiative and creativity.
