About the Role
BrightEdge is seeking a Strategic Account Manager for the EMEA region to join its growing team. This position is responsible for owning, growing, and safeguarding a specific portfolio of enterprise customers. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior marketing executives, ensuring that BrightEdge remains integral to their digital strategy and demonstrates ongoing, measurable value. This is a quota-carrying position designed for a professional who excels in high-level executive discussions, can substantiate return on investment, and is committed to retaining and expanding long-term client relationships.
What You'll Do
- Execute the portfolio strategy for assigned enterprise accounts in the EMEA region in line with BrightEdge objectives.
- Act as a domain expert who designs tailored strategic roadmaps linking platform capabilities to client business outcomes.
- Facilitate cross-functional review sessions to validate assumptions and refine the scope of proposed solutions.
- Quantify business value and clearly articulate return on investment to senior stakeholders during executive discussions.
- Analyze adoption metrics to identify opportunities for expansion and confirm the strength of client retention.
- Cultivate and leverage partner ecosystems to extend market reach and reinforce solution credibility.
- Monitor competitor activities and market movements to adjust positioning strategies and maintain market relevance.
- Translate feedback from enterprise stakeholders into concrete, actionable plans that respect practical implementation constraints.
- Maintain rigorous documentation to support forecasting, institutional learning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all activities align with the broader strategic goals of the EMEA region and the company mission.
- Coordinate with internal teams to drive successful adoption of the Brightedge platform within client organizations.
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities within the portfolio to safeguard long-term client relationships.
Requirements
- Hold a minimum of three years of experience managing strategic accounts within technology-focused markets.
- Demonstrate deep fluency in enterprise SEO principles and content performance platforms.
- Operate comfortably within complex buying committees and navigate multiple decision-makers with ease.
- Quantify business value and clearly articulate return on investment in executive settings.
- Communicate effectively in English with exceptional written and verbal skills.

Compensation and Location
This role is based in Birmingham. The compensation package is structured as a fixed salary ranging from 80,000 GBP to 120,000 GBP for the year 2024. The position is offered on a full-time basis.
Nice to Have
Prior experience working directly with enterprise-level clients in the technology sector, specifically within Microsoft and Visa environments, is preferred.
Skills and Tools
Proficiency with the BrightEdge platform is required. Experience working with Microsoft, Visa, Google, Salesforce, and Slack is highly relevant to the position.
