About the role
Block is seeking a Principal Product Designer to join the Square Point of Sale team. You will lead the evolution of core commerce experiences for both sellers and buyers by integrating new technologies and design systems. In this capacity, you will own the strategic design vision that defines how sellers interact with commerce at the point of sale. You will be responsible for shaping the future of buyer experiences within the Square Point of Sale ecosystem. Your work will directly influence the reliability and clarity of transactional moments for a global user base. What you'll do
- Direct high-level design initiatives to establish new standards for the Point of Sale platform.
- Utilize prototyping to visualize concepts, secure stakeholder buy-in, and guide projects from initial vision to final shipment.
- Partner with product, engineering, and design leadership to define long-term strategy and execution plans.
