What you'll do

• Design and implement robust data warehouse solutions that meet the analytical needs of the organization and its clients.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data models.
• Develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data is accurately and efficiently loaded into the data warehouse.
• Optimize existing data warehouse structures and processes to improve performance and scalability.
• Conduct data quality assessments and implement strategies to enhance data integrity and reliability.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, ETL processes, and data governance standards.
• Work closely with data analysts and data scientists to provide them with the necessary data and insights for their analyses.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for data warehousing and ETL development.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in data warehousing and analytics to continuously improve our solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on data warehousing tools and practices.
• Assist in the migration of legacy data systems to modern data warehouse solutions, ensuring a smooth transition.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in data warehousing, ETL development, or related roles.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with ETL tools such as Talend, Informatica, or Microsoft SSIS.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices in data warehousing.
• Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake) is a plus.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with programming languages such as Python or Java for data processing tasks.
• Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark.
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
• Previous experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Certifications in data management or cloud technologies would be beneficial.
