What you'll do

Conduct in-depth therapeutic assessments and formulate personalized treatment plans using established clinical frameworks.

Deliver real-time video, voice, and messaging sessions to clients in a secure and confidential digital environment.

Establish strong therapeutic boundaries and maintain detailed clinical documentation within the platform's workflow.

Identify and specialize in serving distinct client demographics and mental health presentations that align with your expertise.

Utilize advanced digital tools to track client progress and adjust therapeutic interventions for optimal outcomes.

Collaborate asynchronously with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to client care.

Manage your caseload efficiently to balance session scheduling, follow-ups, and administrative responsibilities inherent to remote practice.

Provide culturally sensitive support that respects the diverse backgrounds and unique needs of a global client base.

Guide clients through the platform's features to ensure they can fully engage in the therapeutic process without technical distraction.

Maintain strict adherence to ethical guidelines and professional standards governing digital mental health services.

Requirements

You must be qualified to practice as a WO-psycholoog, Integratief Counselor, Psychosociaal Counselor, or Psychosociaal Therapeut.

You must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience providing therapy to adult populations.

You must be capable of guaranteeing a confidential and calm setting for the conduct of therapy sessions.

You must successfully pass a background check as part of the credentialing process.

You must have a reliable internet connection to facilitate high-quality teletherapy sessions.

You must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills in the language of the client interaction.

You must be eligible to work in the Netherlands under the applicable regulations for remote practice.

You must hold professional liability insurance appropriate for conducting online therapy services.

You must comply with data protection regulations, including GDPR, in all client interactions.

You must commit to ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health care.

You must be able to manage emotional demands associated with supporting clients in crisis situations.

You must have the technical proficiency to navigate the BetterHelp platform effectively.

You must exhibit cultural competence and sensitivity when working with an international population.

You must be dedicated to maintaining the privacy and dignity of every client you serve.

Nice to have

Preferred experience in delivering teletherapy services to clients in the European time zone.

Prior familiarity with asynchronous communication tools used in mental health platforms.
