Bentonvillear is seeking a dedicated and experienced City Engineer specializing in Water Utilities to join our dynamic team in Bentonville, Arkansas. What you'll do
- Lead the design and execution of water utility projects, including pipelines, treatment facilities, and distribution systems, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including city officials, contractors, and community members, to assess water utility needs and develop strategic plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of existing water infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and necessary upgrades.
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, project proposals, and budget estimates for water utility initiatives.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on water utilities or related infrastructure projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Arkansas or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
- Strong knowledge of water utility design standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Proven experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software.
