What you'll do

• Design and implement scalable and robust infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our applications and services.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of all infrastructure components.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate infrastructure solutions into the software development lifecycle, promoting DevOps practices.
• Manage cloud infrastructure services, including provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of resources in a multi-cloud environment.
• Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines to streamline the delivery of infrastructure changes and updates.
• Implement security best practices across all infrastructure components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related incidents and outages, providing timely communication to stakeholders.
• Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning to ensure infrastructure can handle current and future workloads.
• Document infrastructure architecture, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for improvements and innovations in our infrastructure.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for critical infrastructure issues outside of regular business hours.
• Mentor junior engineers, sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or a similar role.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with hands-on experience in deploying and managing cloud resources.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of Linux and Windows server administration.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or similar.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Familiarity with database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus.
