About the role
You will own the complete lifecycle of deployed intelligence engagements for our top-tier accounting clients, acting as the primary strategic partner for their transformation. This position requires you to translate high-level business objectives into concrete, executable agent workflows that drive measurable operational efficiency. You will design and run discovery workshops, map current accounting processes, and identify automation opportunities that leverage Basis platform capabilities. You will serve as the critical bridge between deep technical engineering teams and non-technical enterprise stakeholders, ensuring alignment on scope and success metrics. You will manage the entire post-sale journey, from initial kickoff and configuration through user adoption and ongoing optimization. This role demands comfort with ambiguity as you help define best practices for a brand-new category of AI-native accounting work. You will continuously synthesize customer feedback and usage data to inform product roadmaps and feature enhancements. You are a hands-on operator who thrives on shipping solutions and demonstrating tangible value in enterprise environments.

Investigate and document existing manual workflows across finance and accounting departments to pinpoint opportunities for autonomous agent deployment.
Architect end-to-end agentic workflows that connect Basis platform capabilities with specific client business outcomes and regulatory requirements.
Champion the adoption of new intelligence tools by designing hands-on training sessions and creating user playbooks for accounting teams.
Orchestrate cross-functional alignment sessions involving client stakeholders and internal engineering to refine product requirements and success criteria.
Conduct deep-dive analysis of agent performance metrics, identifying bottlenecks and proposing iterative improvements to workflow logic.
Establish governance frameworks that ensure AI-driven processes remain compliant, auditable, and aligned with client risk policies.
Translate complex technical jargon into clear narratives that demonstrate ROI and strategic impact for C-suite decision-makers.
Manage multiple concurrent engagements, prioritizing tasks to meet aggressive delivery timelines without compromising solution quality.
Facilitate sprint reviews and retrospectives, capturing lessons learned to refine both the platform and the deployment methodology.
Act as a domain expert during product feedback sessions, articulating user needs and proposing enhancements to the core Basis application.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key influencers and sponsors within client organizations to ensure long-term partnership growth.
Define and track adoption KPIs, providing clear reporting on efficiency gains and process improvements achieved through deployed agents.
Collaborate with data science and product teams to identify new capabilities that can be rolled out to clients as part of expansion initiatives.
Serve as a thought leader by documenting case studies and best practices that shape the future of the deployed intelligence category.
Requirements
You possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in business analysis or a related field.
You have at least four years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise software implementation, consulting, or customer success roles.
You are highly comfortable managing complex stakeholder landscapes, including C-suite executives, finance leaders, and operations managers.
You have direct experience working with large accounting firms, understanding their operational models, compliance needs, and partner ecosystems.
You can demonstrate a track record of delivering complex SaaS implementations on schedule and within defined success metrics.
You are fluent in business process mapping and can break down intricate workflows into logical, repeatable steps.
You possess strong written and verbal communication skills, able to tailor messaging for audiences ranging from individual contributors to executive sponsors.
You are comfortable working fully in-office in New York City, aligning with team schedules and participating in collaborative sessions.
You are a rigorous problem-solver who approaches challenges with a first-principles mindset, questioning assumptions and building solutions from the ground up.

This is a full-time role based in our New York City Flatiron office, requiring consistent in-person attendance.
The role involves significant travel to client sites across the United States, often on short notice.
