What you'll do

• Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft interiors to identify areas that require trimming, repair, or replacement.
• Utilize a variety of tools and equipment to cut, shape, and install materials such as fabric, leather, and plastics in accordance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure that all interior modifications meet safety regulations and aesthetic requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on each task, to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures to ensure that all work meets Axjs's high standards.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on the latest techniques and materials used in aircraft trimming and interior design.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to report progress and address any issues that may arise during the trimming process.
• Ensure that all work areas are kept clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to aircraft interiors, providing innovative solutions as needed.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time effectively to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.
• Assist in the preparation of materials and tools needed for upcoming projects, ensuring that everything is ready for use.

Requirements

• Proven experience in aircraft trimming or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft interior components and materials, including upholstery, carpeting, and paneling.
• Familiarity with aviation regulations and safety standards related to aircraft interiors.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools commonly used in trimming and upholstery work.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically when faced with challenges.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various locations as needed.
