What you'll do
- Conduct routine and non-routine maintenance checks on aircraft systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on aircraft electrical and electronic systems, utilizing advanced tools and techniques.
- Document all maintenance activities accurately in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to develop and implement maintenance schedules that minimize aircraft downtime.
- Assist in the development of maintenance procedures and work instructions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide technical support to flight crews and ground personnel regarding aircraft systems and maintenance issues.
- Ensure that all tools and equipment are maintained in good working order and comply with safety standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and efficiency of maintenance operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements relevant to aircraft maintenance.
- Mentor and train junior engineers and apprentices, fostering a culture of learning and development within the team.
- Support the implementation of safety management systems and contribute to a positive safety culture within the organization.
- Engage in audits and inspections as required, ensuring compliance with both internal and external standards.
Requirements
- Valid B2 Aircraft Maintenance License with appropriate type ratings.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, preferably in a line or base maintenance environment.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, including avionics, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Familiarity with aviation regulations and standards, including EASA and FAA requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive approach to tasks.
- A commitment to safety and quality, with a strong attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management systems and relevant software tools.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

- Experience with specific aircraft types, such as Airbus or Boeing, is a plus.
