About the role
You own the strategic growth and long-term success of a defined portfolio of Aurora customers across key European markets. You act as a trusted advisor to solar installers, EPCs, and developers, ensuring they derive maximum value from the Aurora platform. You will deepen product adoption, identify new expansion opportunities, and navigate complex multi-stakeholder environments to drive measurable business outcomes. You will lead commercial negotiations and renewals while aligning customer goals with Aurora's product capabilities. You collaborate daily with internal partners to deliver seamless support and enablement. You use data and insights to proactively manage churn risk and forecast portfolio growth. You are the primary link between Aurora and its European customers, ensuring their journey is successful and predictable.

What you'll do
- Own and expand a portfolio of Aurora customers across Europe, focusing on retention, adoption, and growth for Aurora and HelioScope.
- Lead end-to-end renewals and commercial negotiations, including early renewals, amendments, and custom pricing structures.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans with customer stakeholders to drive measurable usage growth and lasting partnership value.
- Build pipeline within your book of business by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities through proactive outreach and marketing-qualified leads.
- Use product usage data, UV metrics, and customer insights to forecast expansion, flag churn risk, and act before issues escalate.
- Lead executive business reviews and strategic conversations that align on adoption milestones, goals, and ROI.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Implementation, Support, Product, and Marketing to deliver tailored solutions that address evolving customer needs.
- Partner closely with solar installers, EPCs, and developers to understand their growth strategies and align Aurora capabilities accordingly.
- Navigate complex customer environments across multiple markets, balancing stakeholder priorities and managing expectations.
- Use commercial instinct and deep product knowledge to position Aurora as a strategic enabler of scalable solar operations.
- Support the development of materials and case studies that highlight customer success to enable future sales efforts.
- Work closely with the European sales and implementation teams to ensure smooth onboarding, adoption, and ongoing value realization.
- Track and report on key performance indicators at the account and portfolio level to inform strategic decisions.
- Act as the primary escalation point for customer issues, coordinating cross-functional support to resolve complex challenges.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, product releases, and competitive dynamics to keep account strategies current.
- Communicate progress, risks, and wins to leadership through structured pipeline and renewal reviews in CRM.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or sales within SaaS, energy technology, or a related field.
- A proven track record of growing a customer portfolio through renewals, upsells, and cross-sells.
- Strong commercial acumen, including experience negotiating contracts, renewals, and pricing structures.
- The ability to build strategic relationships with executive stakeholders and navigate complex customer organizations.
- Experience using data and customer insights to drive adoption, identify risk, and develop account growth strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; you work well across teams and make things happen.
- Strong organizational discipline, including managing pipeline and renewals in CRM systems like Salesforce.
- Professional proficiency in English; German or French language skills are a strong plus given our core European markets.
