What you'll do

• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and understand their payroll needs, ensuring a tailored implementation process.
• Lead the end-to-end implementation of payroll systems, including data migration, configuration, and testing.
• Provide training and support to clients on the new payroll system, ensuring they are equipped to utilize the software effectively.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the implementation phase, maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR and IT, to ensure a smooth integration of payroll systems with existing infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and documentation to track progress and ensure successful project delivery.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with clients post-implementation to address any ongoing concerns or needs.
• Stay updated on payroll regulations and best practices to provide clients with accurate and compliant solutions.
• Assist in the development of training materials and resources to enhance the onboarding experience for new clients.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the payroll implementation process and client experience.
• Analyze client feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement changes accordingly.
• Support the sales team by providing technical expertise during the pre-sales process, helping to demonstrate the value of our payroll solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing or payroll system implementation.
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements at the federal, state, and local levels.
• Proven experience with payroll software systems, preferably Asure's solutions or similar platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to clients.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Nice to have

• Certification in payroll management or a related field (e.g., CPP, FPC).
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and their integration with payroll solutions.
• Knowledge of international payroll practices for clients with global operations.
• Experience in a client-facing role, particularly in a consulting or implementation capacity.
