VP, Product Marketing
Job description
About the role
You will define and own the end-to-end positioning and go-to-market strategy for Assured's category-defining AI claims orchestration platform. This role requires you to translate highly technical agentic AI capabilities into a clear, credible, and compelling story for senior insurance executives. You will be responsible for articulating why a Chief Claims Officer must choose an external partner over a massive internal build. Your work will directly influence how the market perceives Assured versus legacy core systems and emerging AI-native entrants. You will craft the narrative that turns complex model and orchestration architecture into business outcomes centered on claim-share growth and cost efficiency. This position is critical for bridging the gap between deep product capability and executive-level buying decisions. You will operate at the intersection of product, sales, and brand to ensure consistent messaging across every customer interaction.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Define the core positioning and messaging architecture that dictates how Assured is perceived in the market.
- Translate complex AI model and agent capabilities into clear, credible language for Chief Claims Officers and insurance operations leaders.
- Own the narrative that convinces enterprise buyers that buying Assured is superior to building a similar capability internally with frontier models.
- Develop and manage the pricing and packaging strategy to turn the product portfolio into a unified platform story with strong value positioning.
- Drive the "Land" motion by owning the story that wins new logos through a compelling build vs. buy argument tailored for CCOs and CIOs.
- Create enablement materials and objection handling playbooks that address concerns around internal AI development capabilities.
- Partner with the Sales organization to co-pilot critical customer meetings and deconstruct competitor decks against live deals.
- Build and lead a small, senior, AI-first marketing team focused on execution quality and speed.
- Collaborate closely with the Product organization to shape the "better together" AI roadmap and integrate it into go-to-market narratives.
- Integrate brand and design systems to ensure all external artifacts reinforce Assured's operating model visually and verbally.
- Own the "Expand" motion by developing playbooks for growing claim-share and process penetration within existing customer accounts.
- Establish the category point of view that positions Assured as the definitive operating model for AI in claims processing.
- Serve as the primary translator between technical product teams and enterprise buyer personas across the entire customer journey.
- Continuously refine messaging and positioning based on field feedback and competitive intelligence to maintain market leadership.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product marketing with a track record of senior leadership responsibilities.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills capable of simplifying complexity for any audience.
- Comfortable holding your own in conversations with Chief Claims Officers and other senior C-suite stakeholders.
- A builder's mindset with the ability to create strategy and playbooks from scratch in a fast-paced, resource-constrained setting.
- Proven experience in hiring, developing, and leading high-performing teams to achieve aggressive goals.
- High ownership mentality with low ego, capable of doing both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
Nice to have
- Experience with insurance claims processing, fraud detection, or other regulated financial services technology.
