About the role
You will spend your initial 90-day period deeply immersing yourself in the critical function of Go-To-Market talent acquisition for Assured. This role owns the proactive identification and engagement of exceptional GTM professionals who are not necessarily looking but are exactly what the business needs to win in a modern insurance landscape. You are the hunter who discovers these hidden gems and builds robust pipelines for our most critical hires. You will translate ambiguous hiring needs into precise, creative sourcing strategies that uncover overlooked talent pools. Success in this position is defined by the quality and diversity of the pipelines you construct and the caliber of candidates you introduce to the team. You will be a key partner in ensuring that the right human talent is always one step ahead of the business demands.

What you'll do
- Investigate and map the current GTM talent market to identify where exceptional candidates are currently hidden.
- Design and execute highly targeted Boolean search strings and utilize advanced LinkedIn Recruiter techniques to surface passive candidates.
- Conduct comprehensive web research to identify professionals at relevant companies, startups, and adjacent industries who may be a strong fit.
- Leverage talent mapping exercises to visualize and target specific companies and individuals who align with future hiring needs.
- Craft highly personalized outreach messages that cut through noise and clearly articulate the unique opportunity for each candidate.
- Partner closely with recruiters and hiring leaders to translate role requirements into a clear sourcing strategy and ideal candidate profile.
- Utilize AI tools such as Claude, Codex, and similar platforms to accelerate research, generate novel search ideas, and streamline outreach efforts.
- Proactively build diverse pipelines by sourcing talent across various backgrounds, experiences, industries, and non-traditional career paths.
- Track all sourcing activities, candidate engagement metrics, and pipeline health to continuously refine and improve search effectiveness.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date candidate records and activity logs within Ashby or a similar applicant tracking system.
- Research and identify communities, events, and niche channels where high-caliber GTM professionals congregate and share knowledge.
- Experiment with unconventional sourcing signals and methods to discover outstanding people in unexpected places.
- Analyze response rates, conversion data, and market feedback to iterate and optimize sourcing strategies over the 90-day period.
- Act as the first point of contact for passive candidates, managing initial engagement and qualification to ensure quality referrals.
- Collaborate with the team to share market insights and adjust hiring strategies dynamically as business priorities evolve.
Requirements
- You must possess a proven track record of at least three years in a sourcing, recruiting, or talent acquisition role within a corporate environment.
- You must demonstrate a history of successfully placing hard-to-find candidates using non-traditional sourcing methods and creative search techniques.
- You must be highly proficient in using LinkedIn Recruiter or a similar professional networking and sourcing platform as a primary tool.
- You must have a strong understanding of Boolean search logic and be able to construct complex search queries to filter and find relevant talent.
- You must be comfortable conducting in-depth web research and competitive intelligence gathering to identify potential talent pools.
- You must have excellent written communication skills, capable of drafting clear, concise, and persuasive messages to engage busy professionals.
- You must be able to quickly learn and become proficient with new software tools, particularly applicant tracking systems and AI-powered research platforms.
- You must have a keen eye for detail and the ability to assess candidate profiles to identify transferable skills and high potential.

- Experience with specific AI sourcing tools and prompt engineering to maximize research efficiency.
- Familiarity with the insurance or financial services industry as a preferred domain knowledge.
